European Youth Conference -'Encounter'

Prayer Topics :

• 100 young Europeans (age 18-25) to encounter Jesus, understand the Gospel, develop a gospel-shaped heart & mind, a gospel-shaped life, and to grow as a gospel-shaped church.
• Messages on John 3 (Latchzar Krastev, Bulgaria), Luke 10 (Enoch Hong, Heidelberg), Galatians 2 (Paul Youk, Wuppertal), Acts 2 (Jonathan Hong, Wuppertal).
• Workshops on prayer, worship, mission, friendship, marriage, overcoming temptations.
• Esra Hong (Heidelberg), Esther Nett (Cologne), Lydia Lee Jr. (Greece), Sua Kim (Mannheim) to prepare a well-founded and meaningful conference.
• Senior coworkers to support with a vessel of prayer and by practically helping with message preparation, workshops, etc.

Dear Supporters,

preparations are ongoing and I am sure most of you are aware of what is happening at the moment.

In our last meeting on Monday (sorry, I am a bit late with this e-mail) we discussed a few things which I will simply write down in this e-mail.

Registration

We had one more registration this week. Two more are possibly coming in in the course of the next few days. we still have a few places available!

Prayer and preparation

We are planning to go to the conference place with some of the co-workers one day earlier. We want to use the time to pray together and prepare everything before the arrival of the participants.

Esra has booked 20 beds and we can use the rooms we need for the conference already. No fee is charged.

Vision Team

Maria Kim (Bern, Switzerland) is preparing the ladies night together with her sisters. She will send us a report about how things are going soon.

Sarah Han (Nantes, France) is working on the Kingdom Hour together with Pauline Lee and Isidora Printezi from Athens, Greece.

Jesin Yu (Cologne, Germany) is preparing the accomodation and transfer of our international guests together with Esra.

Scholarship

The scholarship is work in progress. Curie, Henoch and Samuel received the e-mail addresses of potential recipients. We are excited to hear their news soon.

Payment

Esra will send out an e-mail about payment within this week.

Soccer

Paul Groß (Cologne, Germany) will be organizing the soccer match for Thursday afternoon with support from Esra.

This is all for now.

Today we had several meetings at Cologne to prepare: messengers, GBS leaders and worship band. The meetings were all productive and blessed.
