On May 27, Chicago UBF held its monthly united Friday Leaders Meeting with all Chicago area chapters. On this occasion, they celebrated 7 graduations, one pioneering shepherd family, and one new missionary family.  Each of the graduates shared their testimony and prayer topics. They were: Pastor Kevin Albright (M. Div., Trinity Seminary), Dr. Grace Im (PhD, Wheaton College), Dennie Deliva, (M. A., UIC), Elena Yi (M.A., UIC), Anna Joy Ahn (B.S, Loyola), Karina Bautista (B.A., North Park College), Josephine Wang (B.A., Loyola), and John Lee (ETHS -- representative of 12 high school graduates). Next, Francesca Nguyen shared her report on how God used her as a full-time shepherdess for one year in Milwaukee, and her prayer topics as her family is now going out to Akron, Ohio. Lastly, Dr. Samuel Yoo shared his testimony of God’s calling his family from Israel to Chicago, where he is working at UIC. Pastor Ron Ward gave them 1 Peter 2:24, 25 and three prayer topics: to fix their eyes on Jesus, to live for God’s glory, and to be a blessing. Afterwards, Second Generation Missionary Richard Choi, Jr., served everyone a delicious farewell dinner in the basement, as he and his new bride, Esther, are relocating to California.
