“Come now, let us reason together !”

During 21st-24th of April, Brazil UBF held the 2016 Autumn Bible Conference in Jundiaí, São Paulo, with the title “Come now, let us reason together,” based on Isaiah 1:18 – “‘Come now, let us reason together’, says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’”

There were 53 participants at this conference. Four main lectures guided the conference: 1). Isaiah 1:1-31 (“Come now, let us reason together,” M. Noah Jeong); 2). Mark 5:1-20 (“The healing of a demon-possessed man,” Peter Park); 3). Luke 23:13-56 (“Jesus Christ’s crucifixion,” Moses Park); 4). Revelation 1:1-20 (“Look, he is coming with the clouds,”  M. Andrew Kim).

We thank the Lord God because He blessed this conference abundantly through His words. Many of us accepted the invitation of God, reasoning with Him (Is 1:18), realizing our sins and accepting the love and forgiveness of our Jesus Christ. Our hearts were renewed through the love of our Heavenly Father. We have also received a life direction to use our God-given minas in His mission, until our Lord Jesus comes back (Luke 19:11-26).

Brothers and sisters showed sincerity in their testimonies, with confessions, repentance, forgiveness, healing, by accepting God's love through Jesus Christ. Roberta, Jeanne, Ataiena, Noah, Manoela, Grace J., Grace K., Eun Hae, Debora, Joan shared their testimonies.

We also had special programs such as special songs and hymns, dances (body worship and regional dance) and a movie, “The Mission.” Specially, through the movie “The Mission,” we could think about what kind of life and life-attitude we want to have as Christians. During our free time, we did sports and had fellowship, and a campfire at night, praising and singing psalms.

We also had a united prayer time for little Daniel Kim, son of missionaries Andrew and Debora Kim. We keep praying that he might be fully restored from his condition and that God may raise him to be a living testimony of His power. Now, we pray for the spiritual growth of all Conference participants and that in the next we may bring more and more souls to hear the word of God and His Gospel.

Praise the Lord! Amen!

In Christ,

Elias Park(São Paulo UBF).
