The Law will go out from Zion

Isaiah 2,3 “Many people will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

The European Director Conference of 2014 was held in Switzerland. 2015 begun as I received grace through 2nd Corinthians chapter 4.Last year we studied Exodus, but this year, we changed to John’s gospel to learn more about Jesus.Through this my brother who is also a pastor.

I visited Korea a lot of times to see my Father who was suffering of cancer. But despite that, I had low self-consciousness due to my disability to do my best as the first born child. As I was taking care of him, I could see him getting weaker in time. Seeing that my thoughts were filled with realization of how weak our body is and what we must really aim for. In 4th of March, all of my brothers and I saw him passing away.

After consoling myself, I decided to devote myself to the ministry of Sweden. In the Easter conference of April, I personally renewed my faith in Jesus’ resurrection. Second gens also delivered the message with great responsibility. Lastly, brother Skyjo attended and he shared his hope of resurrection with us.

On June, second gens Johan and Joy had their graduation. Since Autumn, Grace and Anna have been growing spiritually as they deliver the Sunday worship service message. As I see the second gens having grown as men of God I can hope for the gospel-ministry of Sweden.

On August, I was again shocked hearing the sudden decease of missionary Caleb Kim in Latvia. During the funeral I realized that there is no order when God calls us. Thinking of what is my purpose in this world I realized how great the campus mission is. I returned back to Sweden after consoling our co-worker Esther and Msn.Timothee’s family who decided to serveRiga.

On August, brother Skyjo decided to prepare for the University Examination and he started living with family. He studied the Bible while doing his studies. He didn’t get high scores but it was beyond his expectation. But he is going to try again with the expectation to get better grades.

Msn Grace is continually helping sisters Christina and Dixy through Bible Study. Grace and Anna are build the bases of being the 2nd generation missionaries in the universities of Orebro and Uppsala. We are also praying for our fellowship with Marcus who’s decided to have Bible Study once every year. Also the couple Beggy and Jaya are struggling with visa problems and so, they are trying to follow God’s word with prayer. I hope so that they may come to a deeper understanding of the word of God when the time comes for them.

  1. Directions and Prayer topics of 2016

While the world is getting darker, Sweden is also getting swept away by their incident. With the rise of migration rates of the refugees, far-right politics are getting stronger and people have started hardening their hearts. But despite that, I have the insurance that the gospel of God will continue being spread strongly. With this vision, I picked Isaiah 2:3 as 2016’s key verse. I see the vision of the gospel being spread through all the corners of the earth. Even though I am and I will still be a sinner with weaknesses, as the one who was called by God for the salvation work of Sweden, I pray so that I may welcome the new year with a persistent attitude towards the heavenly hope.
