"But you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel". (MT2:6)

On Dec 20 Geangju1,6 UBF held a graceful Christmas worship service with the theme " The shepherd King Jesus" based on Matthew 2 and with 190 attendees.

We praise and thanks to God for the Baby Jesus who gave up the heavenly glory and came down to serve and to save sinners like us from the power of sin and death and Satan through the precious blood  of Jesus on the cross and became our shepherd King.

In the program there was a graceful drama based on the beautiful life of faith of Ahn Ei-sook who had kept her faith refusing shrine worship of Japanese and served fellow prisoners even in the speechless suffering in the prison camp in Japan.  There was also a beautiful worship dancing performed by our sister leaders, and a graceful Christmas chorus conducted by Sh. Soowoong You and piano played by Sh. Deborah You, and a special praise by student team. 

We give thanks to the Lord for enabling us to worship baby Jesus with full of Joy through the CWS.

We also thank God for blessing us in many ways during the year 2015. Especially God raised many new disciple candidates. we are going to help them to grow  as disciples through Genesis Bible study and daily bread training during the winter break.   We also pray that to actively invite 2016 freshmen to Jesus our Lord through one to one relationship in coming New Year.  My 2016 key verse is John10:11 so that I may learn more about Jesus the good shepherd and to learn his shepherd heart in preparing my Sunday messages with all my heart.
