“Jesus, Our King”

On December 20th, the following chapters of Mexico City’s northern region held Christmas Worship together: Cuautitlan(9), IPN(19) and Iztacala(67). For the first part of the worship service, M. Isaac Park preached the message based on Matthew 2:6, sharing the good news of Jesus’ birth – our King and Shepherd who abandoned the glory above and came down to this earth, healing our weaknesses and pains, and ruling us with peace and righteousness.

For the second part, there was music by an orchestra consisting of members from all 3 chapters, worship dancing and “Lord’s Soldiers” dancing by Iztacala members, and a Christmas drama performance, sharing the abundant joy of Christmas. Prayer topics for the preaching of the Gospel were also shared. To participate in Jesus’ love and sacrifice, Christmas offerings were given for Syria and Ukraine.

We pray that the Lord may bless our shepherds, brothers and sisters with His word of grace and truth, as they had prepared the dancing and Christmas drama in practice and prayer for two months, despite being busy all along. During the Christmas drama, Cuautitlan and IPN members served music performances for each scene.
