On July 17-20 Gwanak 3 UBF held its SBC with the theme “The Cross, God’s Everlasting Love" at UESCO Peace Center at Echun in Korea. 158 people attended including 53 new sheep.

The main lectures were as follows: John 4-Jesus, the Living Water for my Soul; Luke 23-The Cross, God’s Everlasting Love; John 21- Do You Love Me? The three morning devotional messages were: (Luke7- Young Man! Get Up!; Luke18-The Tax Collector's Humble Prayer; Luke 24-Jesus who has risen.

The three evening messages were: Luke19- Jesus Who Came to Seek What was Lost; Luke15- The Father's Love for the Prodigal Son; John 15- Jesus, the Way), and the opening message (Mt11:28-30 -True rest).

One thing that was unusual was that all the messages were given with many tears out of their deep hearts because they were so moved by the word and through the Holy Spirit.

On the first evening brother Timothy Ha shared his heart moving life testimony confessing his sins with many tears and revealing Jesus’ forgiving love on the cross which made all attendees weep together. And the other testimony speakers also shared their sincere testimonies and well supported the main messengers.

In such a spiritual environment the word of God worked mightily in the deep hearts of new students through main lectures1&2. Then they wrote their sincere testimonies based on lectures1&2.

During the evening testimony sharing time, after the main lecture 1, eight new students’ testimonies were selected and they were gracefully given.

The next day 12 new students’ testimonies were selected and their content was even deeper than the first day's testimonies. They repented their hidden sins with many tears revealing the full grace of forgiveness, and it seemed as if living water was overflowing within their hearts.

Most of all, through the conference, all the attendees listened attentively and were deeply moved by the sincere and heart moving messages.

Because of the powerful words of God our new students’ hearts were widely opened toward God leading to sincerely confessing their hidden sins. And all our leaders were touched with tears as well.

We praise and thank God for the great work of the Holy Spirit in the new students’ hearts, making our conference better than last year's SBC, though it was a record unprecedented SBC for us.

After the conference, we had the 1st new John team meeting at Saturday and 13 new students attended and shared their sincere and graceful testimonies with repentance, which were even more touching testimonies than those shared during the conference.

We pray that God may enable us to firmly raise 12 new students as disciples of Jesus through John team discipleship meeting.
