Moses Cho's Funeral News

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
On June 29 Moses Cho ( Youljun UBF-14years old) went to the heavenly kingdom to be with the Lord. He had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia. He had been faithful to the Lord that by faith he worshiped the Lord on the last Sunday just before the day he died. The next day he peacefully went to the Lord after his parents ( Joseph & Suhyun Cho) came and laid their hands on him with the prayer, "Father God, we commit Moses’ spirit into your hands.

Though he was young, he put his hope in God's kingdom and was actively preaching the gospel to his school friends in order to bring them to the kingdom when he was in school.  His parents confessed that all these things that happened to them were God's marvelous grace and consideration for him and them.  We saw and were moved through his life of faith that he was like a little Jesus, though his days were short.

The family would like to thank all of the servants’ prayer & love throughout the world and Korea for Moses, and especially thanks to P. Abraham Kim and M. Grace A Lee and their support and the family also is greatly comforted and are thankful.  

They asked for prayer that they may devote themselves to preaching the gospel with all their hearts for the rest of their lives while waiting for the Lord's coming. Presently, Youljun UBF is preparing a joint summer Bible conference with Wonchun UBF. May the Lord bless the SBC to be full of the fruits of life in accordance with the faith of Moses.

Worldly people's life goal is to live on with health and enjoy their lives on earth. But Jesus our Lord wants us to enjoy eternal life in him, which can overcome the power of death obtaining eternal freedom. Indeed, the Lord wants us to be with him forever in his kingdom after putting off our mortal bodies.

I pray that with the faith of resurrection I will be with the Lord in the eternal home after finishing my mission to please God daily the rest of my life, not pursuing the worldly desire.
