The cancer has been found to have spread to the lymph nodes on my neck, so I have another surgery scheduled for the 25th of this month at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. I will be out of the hospital the next day, and would be able to resume normal activities in about a week, they say, except for demanding physical exercise/labor.

Apparently, the thyroid cancer I had two years ago is the most relapsing type of cancer, although the speed of them spreading is slow, thus sometimes nicknamed the “tortoise cancer” and makes it the cancer  with the highest survival rate – as long as you stay on top of it. It is going to be a long, wary journey till the end…
