“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” (John 7:38)

On May 6 to 7 we had our Korea UBF national staff wives’ Spring Bible conference at Hope Retreat Center located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, where we will have the Int’l world mission report 2016.

During the conference all the staff wives quenched their thirst with the living water flowing out of the Holy Spirit based on John 7: 14-52 "Rivers of living water will flow out" and enjoyed talking and sharing their agonies piled up on deep down.

In the evening, Sh. Isaac Choi from Gangreung UBF gave us a special lecture about the meaning of silence for 400 years since Malachi in the Bible, which was for the preparation of the first coming of Jesus. We realized that now is the time of being prepared for Jesus’ second coming by preaching the love of God to all nations. Thereafter each of 5 chosen staff wives shared spring campus mission reports.

Shs. Petra Moon from Youngnam Center said that the secret of successful fishing and raising disciples of Jesus is in daily life of having sincere morning devotion and writing one testimony a week. In addition, four more staff wives (Esther Noh from Ulsan, Sarah Kim from Hanyang, Gail Lee from Chongro 2, and Hue Kyung Kim from Wonchun) shared their spring campus mission reports respectively. They all confessed that the core of successful campus ministry are prayers, loving one campus soul based on the words of God, co-working and helping them to have faithful 1:1 Bible study and write testimony steadily.

On the second day, from 9 o’clock we had a special prayer meeting for Korea UBF to keep the spiritual identity as a Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation and continue to support the world campus mission both physically and spiritually and take up the cross of campus discipleship ministry and ministry of sending missionaries all over the world. At that time crying of their prayers sounded like a huge water fall. We also earnestly prayed for the coming 2016 world mission report in Korea.

After prayer meeting, there was one more special lecture entitled “Sync between parents and teens.” We first watched a video of "Children See, Children Do" and we as parents realized that we are the ones who must pass down our faith to our own children based on the deep love and trust relationship, because children imitate exactly what their parents’ doing like a boomerang.

Through this special lecture, we staff wives deeply learned that we don’t have to be sorry for being materially poor. Rather we can make our children happy and make them grow well through having deep personal relationships with much concern of what our children really want and of their necessities and talking with them.
