The 2015 ME director’s conference was held in Izmir (Turkey) from January 16-18. Izmir was where the church in Sardis—one of the seven churches in Revelation—was located and where Polycarp ministered.  Dr. Abraham, Sarah, and Mark Vucekovich from America attended the conference and Shep. Moses Lee and Isaac Choi from Korea also came to serve us. In addition to the ME shepherds and Turkey’s shepherds Point and Rebecca, a total of 15 people attended the conference. Although the numbers were few, every one of the ME shepherds was very precious in the eyes of God. I thank the shepherds who came from all over the USA and Korea to serve us.

We had a key verse sharing time. I was thankful to hear through their key verse testimonies that the ME shepherds are holding on to the word and are fighting a good fight despite difficult situations.

The opening message was by M.Y entitled, “The Heritage and Vindication from God” (Isaiah 54:11-17). We have renewed our faith in God’s righteousness and the hope of God’s kingdom through this message.

Shep Isaac Choi gave us a special lecture on “The New Testament’s Background History through the Book of Daniel.” He proved accurately how the prophecies in Daniel 2, 7, 8, 9, 10-12 were fulfilled in history. The prophecies that were made in BC 600 were all fulfilled after several centuries. We were able to realize again how precise and correct the Bible is.

Dr. Abraham Kim delivered the first lecture called, “The Gospel: God’s Glory in the Face of Christ.” Through the message he told us to look at God’s glory in Jesus’ face and to live a life revealing God’s power as jars of clay having Jesus as our treasure.

The second lecture was given by Shep Moses Lee with the title, “The Unfolding of Your Words Gives Light.” Through this message, he encouraged us to open God’s words day and night, instead of the internet and to spend a victorious year through prayer and calling on God.

The closing message was by Shep A. C, on Matthew 6:19-21, “Store Up for Yourselves Treasures in Heaven.” He repented his greed over material things and his worries about the future and decided to live a life looking forward to God’s kingdom like the ancestors of faith.

In conclusion, God richly blessed this conference with his words and revived our souls. I pray that we may see God’s light in the face of Jesus and open up his words in 2015.
