The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means God with us. (Matt. 1:23)

We thank God who allowed us to celebrate the coming of our Lord Jesus, who has given us peace in our hearts and his wonderful salvation. When we think of how God came to this earth and stooped down low to our earthly level, becoming one among us as one who is unworthy and weak, we marvel at how humble our Lord Jesus is! A baby in the middle of a war against Satan gives us hope, patience and love; and so we are relieved. What a beautiful gift God has given us!

On December 21, we had Christmas worship with 19 attendants. The message was Matthew 1: 18-25, in which we mainly meditated on Jesus who is “Immanuel,” God with us in all situations. Later, we had worship programs: a viola duet (Isaac & Maria Fernanda), Hymns (M.Raúl, Carlos and Juan Carlos), dancing (Yanette, Veronica and Mabeli), a skit (Juan Carlos, Yanette, Mabeli, Carlos and Veronica) and more (M. Edith).
