Some 80 participants listened to M. Paul Jang’s (Slovakia director) opening message with John 21:1-17, confessing his love for Jesus. We heard all the national reports. We had a GBS on Acts 1:1-14. On the night of 12.27, we heard the life testimony of Shp. Mark Cho (Jeju) and Dr. Mark Yang’s workshop lecture on "How to build a healthy church."
Last week on 8th December, We held a Christmas Bible Academy. We borrowed a classroom of Simon Bolivar University. We had broken heart for the students who want to leave Venezuela due to hopeless, dark political, economic and social situations. We also wanted to invite some students to our Christmas Sunday worship service on 17th December. We chose Isaiah 9:6, "A baby is born to you!"
The 2017 Korea UBF Second gen Orchestra music concert was held on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd with the theme “A Thanks giving festival with Classical & Jazz” at Sowol art hall in Seoul Korea. During the preparation of the music concert we earnestly prayed for our music concert to be a successful thanksgiving festival to the Lord, based on Psalm 136:1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.”
God blessed the United Chicagoland UBF Christmas Worship service on Dec.17 from 2:00-4:30pm with 8 chapters in Chicago participating and nearly 1000 attendees. It was held at a nearby high school auditorium. Pastor Mark Vucekovich spoke on John 1:14, The Incarnation." There were two skits, two chorus songs, two dances--Zumba fitness and young hip hop, and other special music programs. Pastor Abraham Kim gave the closing prayer. Mother Sarah Barry also attended.
