World Mission News: Korea

On July 17, 2017 “Great Vision Orchestra”, a Korean Second-Gen Music Concert, was held at Dr. Samuel Lee hall at the Jongro UBF center in Seoul Korea  

The program was as follows: Hungarian Dance No. 1 & 5 by Johannes Brahms, the Coriolan Overture by Beethoven, and Star Wars & Harry Potter by John Williams.

On June 6, Korea UBF held its national world mission directors’ and treasurers’ meeting with the theme "To finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me " at Jongro UBF center in Seoul Korea.

Its purpose of the meeting was for the world mission directors and treasurers to renew their clear identity as servants who were given mission from God.  

Not to be served but to serve

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many”. Mark 10:45.

On June 12th, 2017 Korea UBF held its National Director Resignation and Inauguration ceremony with full grace at Dr. Samuel Lee Hall at Jongro UBF Center, Seoul Korea. 

About 400 UBF leaders attended and Dr. James Suh, Sh. Abraham Jung and Sh. Byeongdu Lee, who are the board members of Korea UBF, prayed. Sh. David Kim gave a farewell speech thanking God who has used him as Korea UBF national director for last 6 years based on John 17, and prayed that all Korea UBF leaders may be one in heart with the new director Sh. Moses Lee in serving Korea and world campus mission.  

A beautiful house church was established between David Min jr (The first son of  M. David and Susanna Min, LA UBF) and Soonsun Park (The second daughter of Keumsook Yang) on June 3th, 2017 at Hoan professor hall at Seoul National University in Seoul Korea.
