21st Anniversary of Mainz Pioneering News

"For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel." (Key Verse: Ezra 7:10)

In 1988 Samuel Peter and Hanna Ryu began Mainz pioneering by holding on Mark 11:22 as student missionary.  Their mountain(s), according to that key verse were: self support, obtaining a green card, and discipleship ministry.  Faithful God blessed them to grow in this faith.

They thank God for the prayer support of Dr. Peter Chang and Dr. Samuel Lee. In September, 2001 Dr. Samuel Lee was very happy to hear about Barbara¡¯s wedding to Korean missionary Paulus Lee and sent a special letter and offering for them and  prayed for Samuel P. Ryu to raise 120 disciples of Jesus by reading the Bible everyday.

They thank God for faithful coworkers, Hudson and Grace Kim, and Paulus and Barbara Lee. They thank God who raised Fels von Seggern, Barbara Lee and Walter Endres as faithful disciples of Jesus. For this thanksgiving service, Barbara¡¯s Bible students, Russell and Marda, prepared a pantomime with the 2nd generations and young women missionaries, and they also served the service with beautiful music and a photo presentation of Mainz's one year history.

Wiesbaden UBF Augustine and Elizabeth Kim and Darmstadt UBF Moses and Esther Lee attended the service and prayed for all of them to be like Ezra and raise 120 disciples of Jesus in each campus. Dr. John Jun gave them prayer topics for the Rhein Main region UBF to have Bible study once a month and to have a holy vessel of prayer. They pray that they can cowork and pioneer 12 campuses in this area.

Our Prayer topics:

  1. May God give Samuel Peter Ryu inspiration for John¡¯s gospel Sunday messages and good health.
  2. 120 1:1 Bible studies and 60 Sunday worship service attendants. 12 disciples of Jesus and 12 Marias.
  3. Walter Endres may grow as a shepherd and establish a house church.
  4. Rhein Main area UBF (Mainz, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Darnstadt) vessel of prayer.
  5. To pioneer 12 campuses.
