Chicago UBF Orchestra Concert News
Chicago UBF Orchestra performed a beautiful annual concert at the Anderson Chapel of North Park University at 7 p.m. on October 31, 2009. The purpose of this concert was to glorify God at this harvest season based on Psalm 150:6 that says, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" Around 200 guests including many Chicago area UBF members attended this concert. They performed six music pieces. The highlight was the fantastic and powerful piano solo of M. Johannes Chang of Bonn UBF. Matthew Groters' magnificent violin solo and Curie Lee Jr's graceful piano solo were also outstanding. We were very thankful to God for the conductor S. James Rarick and Dr. Helen Rarick's stewardship and serving all the Orchestra members to give their hearts and time to glorify God through orchestra practice. May God raise 120 orchestra members in God's time.
