¡°Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place.¡± (Revelation 2:4,5)

Thank God for grace and love of our Lord Jesus, Immanuel who has been with us last one year. Thank you for the prayers and love of our UBF co-workers for Japan UBF last one year. Thank God who granted us proper direction and renew our mind to begin newly for 2009. Thank God who has lead and blessed the gospel work in Japan.

We had Kwan dong area United Christmas worship service on Dec 21st ¡¯08 at Multipurpose hall of Waseda University.

In part I, M. Daniel Jeong delivered the message, ¡°Christmas with great joy¡± from Mt 2:1-11. We worshiped King Jesus and built altar of thanksgiving by learning Magi¡¯s faith, humbleness and worship and their secret of joy that was from the word of God. We worshiped Jesus who came as the King and offered thanksgiving worship service. This year we had Christmas offering for N. Korea relief, esp. for N Korean people who are starved to death. We prayed for their salvation and had offering for them.

In part II, we had dancing and praise prepared by Tokai UBF and Utzmonia UBF. Then there was a drama ¡°Four wise men¡± prepared by Tokyo UBF. We learned Jesus who came as the King through high quality drama. We also learned that only when we worship Jesus, we have salvation and true joy.

In part III, we moved to the newly purchased(2008) and remodeled Tokyo center and had a joyful Christmas dinner fellowship. We shared joy of Christmas and gave a pretty cup to brothers and sisters.

Thank God who blessed us to purchase Japan UBF headquarters near Waseda University in 2008 and also allowed us to have Christmas worship service with 80 attendants.
