Thank God for blessing the Sri Lanka Christmas worship service abundantly. God answered the prayers of God¡¯s servants and provided all our needs. Several days ago, I met a brother named Suru Lee who then came to the Christmas worship service and played the violin. M. Ok Sook Lee also came and played the organ. Brother Shahan played the guitar and made our worship service blessed.

My PhD program adviser came with his family members and sang the gospel song called, ¡°In the time of the Lord.¡± CCC Colombo director, Mr. Christomony, came and prayed the benediction prayer. Brother Pradip was supposed to come and deliver the message, but he couldn¡¯t come since he had to work the nightshift, so Brother Mohan delivered the Christmas message instead based on John 3:16. In addition, Morutu and Gudumu, and Jinit and Twan from the engineering college, came and we were joyful.

My family performed Christmas carols and the drama, ¡°Jesus, the horn of salvation.¡± In the drama, I was the devil and my son, Sinmok, was baby Jesus, and we had a Taekwondo match together. When I fell down and was defeated by the power of Jesus¡¯ authority, all the attendants laughed hard. I praise God who gave us great joy.

While I prepared for the Christmas worship service, I learned the lesson that in order to give others joy, I had to go through a tunnel of sorrow, pain and self denial. Praise Jesus who left his heavenly glory and power and came down to the world to give us the great joy of salvation forever. May God bless your new year to be full of the grace and love of the Lord!
