Bulgaria Fall Bible Forum News

I thank God who led us into the spiritual world of His words and the Holy Spirit through the Fall Bible symposium. Our Bible symposium covered Luke 3 and 5 and the movie, Facing the Giants.

On the first day, we watched the movie and learned of God who gives us glory and victory when we offer God everything we have by faith in order to receive God¡¯s grace. Sh. George led the program and Sister Maria shared what she learned from the movie. God sent a total of 12 sheep including new people.

On the second day, M. Barnabas Kang, Brother Tony from Macedonia, M. John Jung and M. Monica Jung from Romania, and M. Caleb Yoon from Serbia had a prayer meeting at 10 a.m. and shared their prayer topics. Sh. George led a group Bible study and also delivered a message. God helped him to learn about the deep spiritual world and helped him have desire in his heart to know the secret of the spiritual world. Moreover, God helped him to learn of the beautiful life of living as a fisherman. After lunch, we had ping pong fellowship for two hours. A total of 5 sheep attended including new people. After dinner, M. Caleb Yoon shared his life testimony and Serbia mission report, and we prayed for Serbia ministry. We also prayed for the Europe International Summer Bible Conference next year.

On the third day, we had the Sunday worship service based on Luke 3 with the theme, ¡°The newly happy man.¡± Before the worship service, M. Monica Jung shared her life testimony and Brother Tony from Romania shared his prayer topics. M. Monica prayed to have a baby next year and also prayed for the spiritual growth of B. Bogodan and S. Mathria.

Through the Fall Bible symposium, we thank God who called us as blessings through Jesus Christ. We also thank God that we had an opportunity to pray with servants from the Balkan nations. Above all, God helped Sh. George to grow spiritually when he invited sheep and served the Luke 5 message. We are praying for the Christmas worship service program on Dec. 21. We pray that we may do early morning prayer, 1:1 Bible studies, and read the Bible diligently so that we may go into the deep words of Jesus Christ.

In Christ,
M. James Kang
