Alaska Anchorage pioneering by M. David Kim

I was transferred from the Korean embassy in Zimbabwe to the one in Alaska. I had worship service by myself in my office as a presider, representative prayer servant, special song singer and as a messenger. As I delivered my message powerfully toward Anchorage downtown, I thanked God who led me to this new land and received God¡¯s strength.

Alaska looks like a growing new lively city and you can see construction work everywhere. It does not seem influenced much by the mainland financial crisis.

I rented one room from a man (62 years old) who lives alone. I pray that I may fight a good fight of faith alone till I can have a SS number, car and house. I pray to visit UAA (University of Alaska Anchorage) more often. May God give me this land.

Prayer topics

1. My family may join me by this Christmas
2. My co-worker M. Susanna may come and enroll in the 2 year nursing program in UAA so that we may change our A-2 visa (official) to a E-2 visa and serve here as permanent missionaries, even if I work in the same place and get a green card by 2013
