We began to study 1 Corinthians chapter 1. We learned that the gospel of the cross is God's power and wisdom. I earnestly pray to love the gospel of the cross and to witness to this gospel daily. In today's worship service (10/05) Katrin, a freshman came for the first time. She came from Potsdam to Mainz three days ago. On October 4, I visited her with M. Hannah and invited her to Sunday Worship Service. We pray that Katrin may study with M. Hannah continually.

We thank God for blessing our Campus Bible Academy on October 1. Brother Chen Yu who has one-to-one Bible study with me arranged for a campus room. I delivered "Jesus who Came to Call Sinners" from Mk 2. Shs. Barbara and Johanna shared their life testimonies. Sister Liu Xia shared her testimony based on Genesis chapter 1. Nine students including Jing, Klaus, Dimo and Wang Le came to listen to the word of God. I was very much moved by this Campus Bible Academy, which reminded me of one I attended 20 years ago. May God allow us regular Campus Bible Academies and send us new members and help us to preach the word of God more ardently.

We want to have our 20th celebration of Mainz pioneering on October 26. We thank you for praying for us during these 20 years. May God allow us one Abraham of faith, 12 disciples and 120 flock of God. May God bless the 2009 International European Conference preparation under Dr. Peter Chang's spiritual leadership.
