Youljun UBF Spirng Conference Report by Sh. James Kim
The Truth Will Set You Free

John 8:32 ¡°Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.¡±

Youljun UBF in Korea, which serves SungKyunKwan Univ., Suwon Women¡¯s College and Dongnam Health College, had Spring Conference in May 3-5 at Oneness Center, Ganghwa, Korea. We prayed to plant seeds of the gospel in students¡¯ hearts, while also planting in coworkers¡¯ hearts faith to see God¡¯s glory and sow the seed.

1. Precursors of the Spring Conference.
23 students attended our Bible Academy in March 25 through 27. Also we had a Student MT Conference in April 4 through 5 at Gwanglim Retreat Center. After listening to a message, ¡°Young Man, Get Up¡±, all students promptly created a skit based on the message, and performed it. Through testimony writing, games and sports activities, they said they had good fellowship together, while receiving a new vision for college life.

2. Spring Conference.
There were four lectures. The opening message was ¡°The Parable Of The Sower¡±(Mk 4:1-25) and the closing message was ¡°The Growing Seed, The Parable Of The Mustard Seed¡±(Mk 4:26-32). Two main lectures were ¡°The Truth Will Set You Free¡±(Jn 8:1-12,32-33) and ¡°The Faith Seeing God¡¯s Glory¡±(Jn 11:1-44).

79 attendants including 9 new students listened to God¡¯s word. 14 representatives shared their testimonies based on the first lecture. They confessed the sin of lust and received the freedom from the truth. Also John 11 taught us that we are supposed to take away the stone by faith in order to see the glory of God. 7 married shepherdesses shared their life testimony with a theme: ¡°Stone Taking-Away Symposium¡±. While they served in a support role, they said they were often exhausted. However through the messages and testimony symposium preparations, they were filled with the faith of seeing the glory of God. They prayed they may challenge their stone-like human limitations.

3. Make-Up Bible Academy
We held make-up Bible Academy for those who didn¡¯t attend the conference. Ten new students attended and wrote short testimonies for 20 minutes on the spot after each message. People repented their sins and their inner persons were healed. We saw their faces become so bright.

4. Prayer Topics.
- For sheep: We do our best to plant one word in their heart by encouraging them to write testimony.
- For students: Student leaders will serve Daily Bread meeting in the morning from this week. They may be trained by doing so.
- For our chapter: 100 SWS attendants may join and 30 Gideon-like warriors may be established.

One word: Faith to see the glory of God. From James Kim, Youljun UBF, Korea.
