The Second Mid Europe Conference Report by M. Elijah Park

The Second Mid Europe Conference was held on May 2-4 in Wadowice, Poland. This is the very place where Pope John Paul II was born. 71 attended from 6 nations (Poland 19, Hungary 4, Czech 9, Austria 13, Slovakia 2 and Croatia 4).

They came to the conference place driving their own cars. Dr. Peter Chang brought Bonn orchestra members. Shepherd Samuel H. and Okhee Lee with Sarah Park came from Hanyang. Namsan sent two technical supporters and USA sent 2. M. Elijah Park¡¯s opening message, ¡°Dry bones, come back to life!¡± (Ezekiel 37) gave us vision that all dead souls of Mid Europe will surely come back to life by the power of the word of God. ¡°Father¡¯s love¡± by Michael Chrustowski (Luke 15) helped us see many prodigal sons will return to God. We missionaries learned that we must have such love of God our Father. ¡°You give them something to eat!¡± (Mk 6) by M. Andrew Kim enabled us to see that Jesus can use five loaves (Tomasz, Carlos, Ales Maca, Mikolaj, Ephaproditus) and two fish (Izabella, Karolina) to feed all Mid Europe. ¡°Do you truly love me?¡± (John 21) by M. Henryk Lee gave clear direction that we must take care of God¡¯s flock out of love for God. The closing message, ¡°Young men will see visions!¡± (Joel 2:28) by Joseph Ahn showed God¡¯s vision for Mid Europe young men.

Two life testimonies by S. Richard Ryzewski from Chicago and Christoph Wirth from Germany as well as two HBF singspiration leaders, Elizabeth Moon and Maria Lee from Bonn opened our hearts. Second night¡¯s 6 nations¡¯ special song presentations, with mission report and life testimony were very inspiring. The music concert with 9 repertories including a CBF violin solo by Polan and 4 Austrian CBF kids¡¯ chorus were so inspirational. We also saw a Purdue video presentation.

Through this conference we can summarize God¡¯s work as follows:

1) It was a conference to pray for each Mid Europe nation to raise one Abraham of faith and 12 disciples. Especially we prayed for Thomas from Poland and Ales from Czech who attended in spite of his examinations.

2) To thank and praise God for M. Elijah who hosted this conference and gave powerful announcements with clear spiritual direction. He felt Mid Europe pioneering work is like tunneling through the Alps Mountains. But he said he will challenge these obstacles by having faith in God. He showed that he is a man of faith and word of God.

3) We prayed for the Purdue conference speakers and 3000 participants to receive God¡¯s love and go to the whole world to preach God¡¯s love.

4) It was a very artistic and musical conference with solo by M. Happy Maria who took the train for 20 hours and violin, cello solos, Opera song by Karolina, SunHwa Lee¡¯s solo, 2nd gene Polan¡¯s violin solo and 4 Austrian CBF¡¯s chorus.

5) All mid Europe missionaries attended with all their children except 2, forming a holy vessel.

6) Under Dr. Peter Chang¡¯s leadership and conversations, Mid Europe coworkers decided the speakers and necessary programs. We pray to have a more independent conference in the future. Next Mid Europe Conference will be held in Vienna, Austria. We all thanked God for God¡¯s lavishing love for the lost souls of Mid Europe young people.

One word: ¡°The God of Poland is a loving father¡±
