The United Spring Conference was held on April 26th through 27th at Sungsan Youth Center, Gwanghwa. (Jongno 1, 2, 7, Kwanak 3, 5, Suwon, Anyang and Hwarang chapter were participated in)

Sh. Moses Lee from Kwanak 3, delivered the first lecture, with the title ¡°Jesus! Way, Truth, Life!¡±, and Sh. Spurgeon Lee from Jongno 2 did the second lecture, ¡°Jesus Heals A Born Blind Man¡±. Full-time staff shepherds used to deliver messages, but this time, Sh. Moses Lee, an exemplary lay shepherd, spoke, and with much passion and heart. He diagnosed the problem of these days, attributing it to the absence of knowing Jesus to be the True Way. He raised his voice to emphasize why Jesus is the true way in his lecture. In lecture 2, we learned that we shouldn¡¯t be overcome by fatalistic conditions, but make every effort to overcome them by faith.

Sh. David Lee from Jungneung UBF, Korea, was invited as a speaker to give a special lecture. Through it, we learned how to become victorious lay shepherds. He gave us practical advice on how to juggle school, work, ministry, and post graduate life.

Thank God for blessing this conference as a precursor for the Summer Bible Conference(July 11-14). During the conference, we made a decision to challenge ourselves to have 200 1:1 Bible studies in each chapter and 12 Bible studies for every staff shepherd each week. Thank God for encouraging us to pray for the Purdue Conference and for a 30% growth of each chapter in order to double in number by 2010. May God continuously grant Sh. Moses Yoon and staff shepherds powerful messages from the book of Matthew.
