Moscow Easter conference report by M. Stephen Kim

God blessed the Moscow Easter conference held from April 25-27 at Lesnoy Gorodok with the title, ¡°New life with Jesus¡±. Shepherdess Maria Nikitina, who serves Nizny-novgorod pioneering work, brought two brothers and a total of 122 people attended this conference. We prepared this conference with much prayer. The week before we held a special Easter service, in which our second generation missionaries recited John chapter 11 in Russian, English and Korean.

The Holy Spirit blessed the messengers, and all attendants met Jesus deeply through the messages.

* The first day:

The first message was given with the title ¡°The meeting between and Jesus and Peter¡±(Lk 5:1-10) by Ivan Klimov.

In his message he encouraged us to meet Jesus daily and grow in his love and calling and carry the mission with the hope to live with him forever. He invited all his family members to the conference and shared his joy with them.

* The second day:

Main message was ¡°Jesus came to save the lost¡± (Lk 19:1-10) by Sh Alexei Belykh. He testified to the grace of Jesus who visited him when he despaired during his college days at MIPT.

That evening¡¯s message was ¡°Jesus, the resurrection and the life¡± (John 11) by Joshua Park. He learned resurrection faith in Jesus after his wife had several miscarriages. After removing the stone of unbelief, God gave them two sons and raised him as a Russian Bible teacher. His Bible students, Andrey, Gana and Gustav came to this conference.

* The third day:

Sh Alexey Rusanov delivered the powerful message ¡°The Living Hope¡± (1 Peter 1:3,4). After his mother¡¯s death by cancer, he was overcome with emptiness and sorrow. But through this message he thanked God for the new life in Jesus and hope in the eternal kingdom of God.

The last message was from 1 Corinthians 15, delivered by a duet message team of Pavel Zakharov and Sh Kostya Kalinkin, with the title ¡°Jesus¡¯ resurrection, our resurrection.¡±

Testimonies were given by Alexina Anna (¡°I am he¡±), Lan Ko Vey (Taiwanese student) and Sasha (¡°Without faith it is impossible to please God¡±). We held a symposium with reports on great Christians: Michael Faraday (by Ivan Fominykh), Mendelssohn (by Vera Nikolaeva), Henry Heinz (by Alexey Maukh), Clive Louis (by Paula), Eric Little (by Daniel Jivaev) and Lord Radstock (by Natasha Ha).

Prayer topics:

2. Moldova pioneering through M. Caleb & Esther Kim¡¯s family from Moscow
