Philippines UBF had their Easter conference for three days at Potipot Island where there is no electricity and with a beach of golden brown sand. We learned the real essence of Resurrection and accepted one word of God in our hearts.
We had JBF, CBF, and UBF meetings. We had a musical play, choir, and a competition to memorize gospel key verses. We enjoyed swimming and eating.
We learned the life of great women of God—Esther, Ruth and Mary—through this conference. I wanted to be like these women of God and can influence my friends by growing personally through 1:1 Bible studies. I memorized Bible verses and shared my life testimony. After sharing life testimony, I felt free. Praise God!
To live as a true Christian, we should take risks like Paul even if others are against us and some rebuke us. We should always have a shepherd heart. Even if I 횂징횂째die everyday,횂징횂짹 I should not be afraid. Even though my classmates laugh at me, I should invite them to Bible study. I am weak but I believe that God will help me to stand firm for the glory of God. I want to experience the power of Resurrection so that I may overcome my fatalistic view of life and live a meaningful life.
Through the Easter conference, I became more convinced to accept the life of mission.
