New York UBF held a pastoral leadership transition ceremony on April 28th, marking the shift from P. David B. to P. Juan S. Having dedicated 30 years to New York UBF, P. David and M. Joy B. bid farewell. P. David delivered a moving message centered on John 9:1-25, reflecting on his faith journey and pastoral experiences. The congregation expressed heartfelt appreciation for his faithful service. P. Juan S, in his inaugural address based on Acts 2:42-47, emphasized the vision for New York UBF to be a missional church rooted in God's word, fellowship, faith, and prayer.

P. Ron Ward, General Director of UBF, encouraged the congregation to embrace Jesus' world mission command, drawing from Acts 1:8. Notable figures including Elder Jim R., P. Moses K., P. David B., P. Mark Y., and P. Ron Ward offered prayers for P. Juan S. The ceremony was attended by approximately 170 individuals, including 60 guests from North America and Korea, fostering a joyful atmosphere of celebration and communal prayer. As New York UBF embarks on this new chapter, prayers abound for the community to flourish as a beacon of faith and love, fulfilling God's mission.
